Hey there!! Happy happy Thursday! WHAT, it's already Thursday!!?? This week has flown by, seriously!! Today I am sharing my monthly goals plus a couple of things that I am thankful for! Before we begin, my goals will be in categories (health, school, blog, etc) ,and by each goal will be either a D, W, or M this lets you know if it is a goal to achieve daily, weekly, or monthly! Okay, let's begin!! Also, how do you like my Saint Patrick's day graphic?
*Linking up with Joanne, Rebecca Jo, Carrie, Jill, and Shelbee
Health/Wellness/Fitness:
D- Run 1 mile every day (this is what I am doing for Lent, during my run I listen to Christian music and make that my time with God)
D- Do 5 push-ups, sit-ups, and squats on the top of every hour
D- Serve 10 serves (if it is not raining or wet outside)
D- Drink 60+ oz of water (I upped my goal just because I realized how great I feel when I drink water, so why not drink a ton every day!?)
D- Get in shower by 8:00 PM (I take showers at night, and I totally procrastinate! Does anyone else avoid showering until the last minute? If you do, you are just like me! I will end up finding so many other things to do before I shower, so I won't end up getting in until 9! That sets me back a lot on sleep, so I am trying to get in earlier!)
D- Get in bed by 9:30 PM (I am trying to work on getting more sleep, so I want to be in bed by 9:30, I normally fall asleep pretty quickly, so if I get in bed by 9:30, I'll be out soon after!)
W- Workout 3 times a week (This is helpful for me to get into even more shape to help me in volleyball!)
W- Go on 2 walks a week!
Friends/Relationships:
W- Text/Call friends to catch up
M- Meet up with one friend in person!
Family/Quality Time:
D- Make sure to always be kind and loving to fam even if you aren't having a good day!
D- Help Clara get ready in the mornings and help her have a good day!
W- Make sure to have a meal with the whole family at least three times a week (I get back from volleyball pretty late, so Clara is already in bed, so we don't normally all eat together on those nights.)
W- Go on a walk with the family!
W- Watch a movie with the family once a week!
M- Have a game night!
M- Celebrate Pip's 1st birthday!! (We just cannot believe how old Pip is! Our sweet kitten is growing up!)
Cleaning/Organization:
D- Make bed! (I do this anyways, but I wanted to include it anyways!)
W- Clean off bathroom countertop! (My bathroom counter gets so cluttery throughout the week, so I have decided to clean it off once a week!)
W- Vacuum room! (I feel like my room looks so much cleaner after I vacuum it, so I want to do that once a week!)
Blog/Reading:
D- Reach 30-minute reading goal in Apple Books daily!
D- Work on blog posts! (I can't hurt to work on a blog post a little bit every day!)
W- Post 3-5 times a week!
M- Don't go on any unexplained blogging absences!
M- Read 20+ books! (I am really trying to step up my reading game, so 20 books a month can't hurt!)
Now onto Thankful Thursday!
1. I am very thankful that it is March!! Just saying that it is March 2021 makes me happy! I feel like we have come such a long way since March 2020! It blows my mind that one year ago, almost on the dot, I was at a Foley tournament, then to Orlando, and then I went home and everyone quarantined! During that summer, I went nowhere for what seemed like forever! Now I feel like we have grown accustomed to COVID and all that it brings (masks, quarantines, six feet, etc), but it is so crazy to look at all of the things we did prior to COVID! I am so, so ready to return to what life was like before March 2020, but I'm not sure whether life will ever be the same. Although I hate COVID, I hate that people cannot see their friends and family, that people are sick for days, weeks even with it, that family and friends are dying without a goodbye, but the one good thing that came out of it, is this incredible experience. I am so, so grateful for this time at home and for all of the things I have learned that I never would have if we never had been hit with a pandemic. So, I guess I am thanking you, Corona. Thank you for what you have taught me. Also, I know the pandemic is not even close to over, but I guess I am just realizing how grateful I have been for this past year. I can definitely put it down as "Most Interesting Year"!
2. I am thankful for blogging! I just love getting to put all of my random, crazy thoughts down here! A couple of weeks ago, I was so focused on posting this, posting that, but not taking the time to enjoy writing the posts. And if I don't enjoy blogging, then why do it? So after my break in February, and when I got a little less busy with school, I guess I realized how much I enjoy getting to sit down and blog every day!
Okay, friends, that's all that I have for you today! I think I will see you tomorrow, fingers crossed, I kind of want to just focus on schoolwork, BUT I do have some interesting favorites that I can't wait for! Happy Thursday, and if I don't see you Friday let me give you a quick heads up! I have another tournament this weekend, so I will be posting my Let's Look on Monday, and still linking up, but after Monday, I won't be posting again until Thursday! Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful day! See ya!
You got this!! I can totally relate on procrastinating to get in the shower - I always change my mind and take it in the morning!!
