Let's Look - A Perfect Night In!

Happy Wednesday and happy hump-day!! Y'all, we made it to the middle of the week!! For today's hump-day lineup we have our monthly Let's Look linkup!! This month we are talking about our perfect night in! I wasn't sure how others interpreted this prompt, BUT I decided to document a night in! Soooo, this documented night does not look perfect just because it is completely all over the place, but I assure you, it was a super fun night in with the fam!! 😊  I thought that this post was for last Wednesday, turns out it was not, but that is okay! At least this post was finished a week in advance! 😉
Also, it is St. Patrick's day today, so a happy St. Patrick's Day to you all! ☘☘☘

*Linking up with Erika and Shay

I started documenting my perfect night when I got out of my shower...

I got out of my shower, put on my pj's, and brushed my hair!

When I got out of the shower dinner was ready! That night we were having zucchini noodles and shrimp!!

Then we all sat down and had our meal! This was my food!

I tried to take a selfie of us at dinner but it did not turn out right! I am not the best selfie taker! 🤣

When we were done with dinner, I helped clean up the kitchen and do the dishes, then I went to my room and cuddled with Pip! He was purring so loudly and being so sweet!!

I knew I was documenting this for the blog, so I decided to do something special for dessert! That night I . . . MADE ICE CREAM WAFFLES!!! I had had a recipe for chocolate waffles and in the photo, they made it into a chocolate waffle taco with ice cream inside, and I wanted to make it for a while and I finally decided to make it!! They were pretty easy to make, but the only hard part was getting them into their taco shape. What I did was immediately put the hot waffles into a water glass (with no water of course) and put them in the freezer! They turned out really good!

These were Clara's ice cream tacos, she went with the blue sugar theme!

I think she really liked them! 😉

This one was mine! I found some super cute star sprinkles and decided to use them on mine! I do have to admit that these waffle tacos were amazing!!!!!

This was supposed to be a more close-up photo, but it focused on Clara instead!! 🤣

Dad also loved his tacos!!

When we were all done with dessert, Mom and Dad went on a walk with Lincoln. While they were gone, Clara wanted to eat more sprinkles, so we ate a ton of sprinkles and ended up taking a boat-load of photos!

Then Clara was sneaking more sprinkles!

When Mom and Dad (and Lincoln) got back from their walk, we all settled down and watched a show on Netflix about cool houses and architecture! It sounds boring, but it was actually super interesting!!

Then Mom took some photos of me saying goodnight to Lincoln!

When I had said goodnight to Lincoln, it was time to say goodnight to Clara! We cuddled for a little bit!

Then, it was time for me to go to bed! I did some reading, took a selfie, and went to sleep!

Well, that was my documentation of a perfect night in! So, let me know in the comments what your perfect night in is! I hope you enjoyed! See ya Friday!!!

  5. Those ice cream waffles look amazing!! I am impressed that you all eat zoodles. I make them all the time but I am the only one in the house that will eat them and I end up cooking up spaghetti for everyone else.

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
