February 2021 Monthly Review!

Hey, hey!! Happy Wednesday! Y'all, I am happy to say that we are halfway done with the week!! Two more days! Today I am sharing February monthly review! Doesn't it seem crazy that it is already March! Next thing you know 2021 is going to be over, and we will be in 2022! Even though we are in the third month of 2021, I still seem to be writing the wrong date! Even on one of my blog posts, I marked the date as 20 instead of 21! *Sigh*

DAILY LIFE:
My daily life during February did not change a bit! Wake up around 4-5, eat breakfast, get ready, take Clara to the bus stop or watch Lincoln, run, rinse off, join zoom and start school!

FAVORITES:

I will have to say that February was full of favorites, so this section will be the longest!!

1. Lincoln
How could our new sweet puppy not be number 1!!?? This pup is the sweetest, the most playful, he is so energetic, and (as you can see from the photo) adorable!! We just love having Link in our family!!

2. Volleyball Tournament
Our volleyball tourney was so much fun!! We were 5-2, but we still had a great time! Going to TopGolf and the mall was a blast!

2. Running
I have loved running in the mornings! Running is NOT my thing, but I have enjoyed getting my heart rate up in the early mornings! Also, my time has gotten WAY better since that run!

4. "Galentines"
I had such a fun time getting to see Ella!! Hanging with friends is always a highlight of the month!!!

5. Waffle Maker
You probably already know this, but I am an avid waffle lover! I love making waffles for breakfast and I love eating them! So, I have loved using my new waffle maker!

SCHOOL:
February was also a very successful month of schoolwork! I finished all of my history tests, and we finished a lot of projects!!
In English, we finished up the project A World of Choices, which talked about poetry, and we started our newest project on the book The Westing Game!
In science, we finished the Don't Feel The Heat project where we learned about thermal energy and heat and started a new project on Forces and Motion!
In history, we continued to work on our project called Organization and Societies!
In math, we worked on linear functions and equations!

MOVIES + SHOWS:
I actually shared my movie + show review yesterday!! Make sure to check it out, but if you haven't seen it, and you want a mini recap, here are my rankings!

1. Stranger Things - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

2. WandaVision - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

3. Agent Carter - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

4. To All The Boys: Always and Forever - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ *3.75

  2. Looks like a good pretty good month overall (with some not so fun parts too). My husband and I love WandaVision. We were a bit skeptical at first, but after the first few episodes we were sold (although I have to keep remember what happened in the Avengers since it's been a while since I saw any of the movies).

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
