Atlanta Beast Tournament Trip 2021!

Hey hey!!! Happy Monday and Happy March 1st!! Is it crazy to y'all that we are 2/12 of the way done with the year!! Also, this is SOOO true!!
Today I am so excited to share my trip recap! I hope you guys enjoy!!

*Linking up with Tanya and Heather

Friday 2/19:
Friday morning I got up just like usual, ate breakfast, and got ready! We walked Clara to the bus stop and then I went on my mile run for the day!

Then I worked on school throughout the day and when I was done I started packing! Y'all, I am such a last-minute packer! I will wait until one hour until leaving time to pack! 🤦

I also hung out with Lincoln on my bed before I left!

Dad got home around 2:45, and we hit the road around 3:15! On the way we watched WandaVision Episode 7, and OH MY GOODNESS!! So crazy, right!!?? By now we have probably all watched Episode 8 (I am writing this Thursday) and I cannot wait! After we finished that WandaVision episode we watched Romeo + Juliet (the 1996 version). And I loved it!! It was such a fun movie, and I think I have a new celebrity crush. Before I move on, can we just talk about how cute Leonardo DiCaprio is in that movie!!?? 😍😍😍

Here is the Welcome To Georgia sign!

We got to the hotel around 6:30 and this was the photo that I sent mom to let her know we made it!!  Such a flattering photo, right?? 🤣🤣

Here was our hotel room! Ignore the pile of stuff on my bed!

We were starving once we put our stuff down so we got car-side delivery from Chick-Fil-A! I had 12 count grilled nuggets, a fruit cup, and lemonade! I forgot to take a photo of my meal until I was about to eat my fruit!

Once we were done I showered and got ready for bed! Then I Facetimed mom and Lincoln to say goodnight!!

Saturday 2/20:
On Saturday I got up around 5:30 and took a just-woke-up photo! Ella knows how much I love my morning photos!! ;)

Dad had gotten up earlier and he went to Dunkin' to get us breakfast! So while he was gone I might have done some jumping on the bed!

My order was a Large Black Breakfast Tea and a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant! I know that Natalie from Big Small Nerd loves Dunkin', so I was thinking of you when enjoying it!!

I got ready and had a mini photoshoot before we left!

On the way to the facility!

We had to get there at 8 but we didn't play until 9:30, so in the meantime, we gave each other massages with Baylee's massage gun, played Trivia Crack (that is our team game, we play each other all the time!), and talked!

I did not take any photos between our first game and the last one of the day, but I will tell you if we won or lost.
We lost our first game, won our second one, had a break for an hour, and won our third game.

After our win, we had to ref a game! I love to do the books so I do it most of the time! Harlie was doing libero tracker, so I got to sit and talk with her at the table! We found out that we are so similar!! We are not only the same height and everything, but we love all of the same stuff as well! We had the best time talking! Also, excuse my hair, I was brushing it out while doing the book because we were getting ready to go somewhere! Side note: I took my mask down because I was eating a Z-bar just then!

I also took a selfie with Jessie!

While we were reffing the game, our parents were planning for us to go have lunch at TopGolf!!! We had the BEST time!
First, we got there and grouped in the lobby. We were getting our bay number when Gracie and KK spotted the famous couple Asher Angel and Caroline Gregory!
Asher is in Andie Mack and in Shazam and Caroline is Tik Tok famous! I am not on Tik Tok so I had no idea who it was! 😂 We ended up taking a photo with them on our way to our bay!!

Now I have met three celebrities, Asher Angel, Caroline Gregory, and Jason Aldean!

We got to our bay, and Lottie's big sister Mary Beth taught us how to play!! Here is the photo dump!!
Selfies with Hart!!

The chips and salsa was so yummy!!

And even more selfies!

My swinging photos, not the best swing, but an okay finish!

While we were in the middle of our play we had a cookie skillet or two that was delicious!! We ate it up in about 10 seconds flat!! If you go to TopGolf, you have to try this cookie skillet!

Once our hour and a half was up, we took photos! Lots of photos! ;)

When we were about to leave TopGolf to go to the hotel, I got invited to go shopping with Eliza and Pryceless!! In the car, we talked all about Stranger Things, and it turns out we are all big fans of it!!
When we got out of the car we saw Baylee, so we met up with her and got to shopping!!

We had so much fun on the carousel! We got into the spinning cup and we went in so many circles and were so dizzy afterward!

We walked around a bit and found a photo booth, but we just took photos from our phones instead!

Then, we went to Francesca's and tried on sunglasses!!

Next, we found a photo booth where we actually got a photo strip done!

Then we got dinner and headed back to the hotel! Once in the hotel, we ate cupcakes for Baylee's birthday then we played the hand-clapping game Isolation!! We had so much fun! Then, I headed to bed!!

Sunday 2/21:
Sunday was our last day of the tournament, and unfortunately, I only have two photos from that day!!
Sunday, I got up and Dad got us Dunkin'! This time I had an Oatmilk Latte and the Power Breakfast Sandwich, which is a Veggie Egg White egg on a multigrain thin! So yummy!
I got ready and we packed up all of our stuff! Then we got to the car to go to the facility!

We had to ref first thing, then we had our two games!
We lost the first one, and won the second one!!  It was a super exciting day, but y'all, I took no photos!
After we were done playing and we were heading out, we took a super cute team photo!

On our way home we stopped by Sonic, and then I was out for the rest of the ride home!!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
