Happy Wednesday!! As you might know, today is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent! Lent is the 40 week-day period spanning from today all of the way up until Easter Sunday. On these days, Christians are devoted to fasting in commemoration of Christ's fasting in the wilderness.
This year, instead of giving up an object or food, I have decided to run one mile a day while adding an element of faith to the workout! I may listen to my favorite Christian songs one day or listen to a Christian podcast another. This is such a great way for me to connect and have extra time with God, but also get a great workout done!
