Christmas 2020 Recap

Hey friends! Happy happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!! For today’s post, I am sharing a recap of my Christmas! Was anyone else super upset when Christmas ended? I mean such a big buildup, and it's all over. I sure was.
As usual, I am linking up with HeatherLindsayJohannah, and Tanya

Christmas Eve:
Christmas Eve was so exciting! Clara and I constantly checked the Google Santa tracker throughout the day just to see where Santa was. We spent most of the morning cleaning up the house for company, and mom and I made a quick grocery run to pick up any last-minute things we needed. While we were cleaning and making the food for dinner, Pip was fast asleep in his bed. Isn’t he so cute!
We worked on finishing up the food, and afterward, I finished up the homemade ornaments we were giving our family.

These were just made out of air-dry clay, we cut out the shapes with the cookie cutters we have, and I decorated them with Sharpie. It was a super fun project, that didn't really take too much time. I made one that said Merry & Bright, one that said Joy to the World, and another one in the bone shape that said Bear on it for my Aunt’s dog.
Before the family got here, I made a quick run over to check on the pets I was petsitting over Christmas!

Once the family came, we snacked on the appetizers for a little while before we had dinner. For our appetizers we had brie stuffed mushrooms! Let me tell you, they were so delicious and were not difficult to make.
We are dinner which was lasagna, chicken alfredo, mac and cheese (we went all out with the pastas), and salad. It was such a yummy meal, and everyone enjoyed it! After dinner, we just talked until we were ready to have dessert. My Nana made a chocolate log cake, which was so good!!
We are dessert, and half watched a Christmas movie and talked. Then I roused everyone to take a picture! Isn't Bear so photogenic! He is posing perfectly for the camera!
Once everyone went home, we all hurried to get in bed so we weren’t tired for the big day!

Christmas Day:
On Christmas Day, I slept in until 7, which is pretty late for Christmas day. Clara and I hung out for a little while Mom and Dad were preparing the living room for us to come out. We were all so excited for Pip’s first Christmas!

Then Clara and I walked into the living room and we started opening presents!
Clara loved the puzzle I gave her and put it together immediately!
Charles loves Christmas Day!
Clara got a polaroid camera for Christmas, and she loves it! She started taking pictures instantly!
Once we were all done opening presents, I went to go check on the pets! Then we had breakfast!
For breakfast, we had sausage casserole, fruit, coffee cake, and sparkling grape juice! It was so yummy! After we are, we mostly hung out and played around with our new things!
That night we all watched Soul together, which we loved, and then went to bed!

Clara’s Birthday:
Clara’s birthday is the day after Christmas! We had a pretty normal and chill morning, Clara played with her new things. Then she went to our neighbors house to play with her two friends while we wrapped presents for herm and set out the cake! When she came back she was super surprised! We are cake, and she opened her birthday presents!
After that, we went on a walk in the trails!

When we got back, we are dinner, Clara and I watched a movie, and we went to bed! Clara had a really good birthday!

I hope yenou joyed reading my Christmas recap! Thanks for stopping by! I will see you all back here tomorrow with a makeup haul!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Tuesday Talk - A Day In The Life

Hey friends!! Happy Tuesday! Can we just take a step back for a moment and recognize that it is already January the 19th!!?? It has been 19 days into this New Year, and I feel like it all happened in the blink of an eye. It went by so fast. Today is the third Tuesday of the month, so that means it's time for . . . TUESDAY TALK!! Today I will be talking about how my day goes, meaning I will be sharing A Day In The Life! Day In The Life posts are some of my all-time favorite posts to read, so I am super excited to share this one with you! Linking up with Erika and Ashley ! Friday morning I woke up at 5:04 AM, my alarm did not go off, but luckily I roused close to my normal time! Then I checked my sleep app to see how much sleep I got.  After checking that, I laid in bed and read for 10 minutes. This is my favorite way to wake up and quietly prepare myself for the day! Then I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast! I made myself some hot tea, and because
