Christmas Playlist 2020 Link Up

 

Hey there! It is Thursday, December 3rd! Guys, there are 22 days till Christmas! How is that possible! Today Ella and I are sharing our Christmas Playlist 2020!! This is a link-up, so make sure to link up HERE! Here we go!

 1. A Holly Jolly Christmas, Burl Ives’ version, and Michael Bublé’s version - I adore this song! I can’t imagine Christmas without it! This song has a tendency to get stuck in my head. A lot!

2. White Christmas, Burl Ives’ version - I love White Christmas! Granted, we NEVER have a White Christmas, but I still love the song! Maybe this year will be the year for snow!!??

3. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Burl Ives’ version - If you couldn’t tell, I am a HUGE Burl Ives Christmas fan! :) This song is so happy, and I couldn’t do this playlist with out it!

4. Winter Wonderland, Burl Ives’ version - Walkin’ In a Winter Wonderland!! Love this song! 

5. Silver Bells, Burl Ives’ version - Guys, this is the last Burl Ives song, I promise! I just had to include the song! It’s Christmas time in the city! 

6. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree, Brenda Lee version, Kacey Musgraves and Camila Cabello version - I love this song! It’s very catchy, and it’s a super great song to run to! ;)

7. It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, Michael Bublé version - It sure is looking like Christmas! 

8. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Michael Bublé version, Frank Sinatra version, and July Garland version - I love this song! From now on our troubles will be out of sight!

9. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Bruce Springsteen version, The Jackson 5 version - Who doesn’t love this song! Santa Claus is comin’ to town!

10. Here Comes Santa Claus, Gene Autry version - This song is one of my favorites! This song always manages to get stuck in my head, but I don’t mind it!

11. Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas), Bing Crosby and The Andrew Sisters - Guys, this took me a while to type this correctly! I love this song, it’s super catchy and fun to sing!

12. Please Come Home For Christmas, Eagles version, and Kelly Clarkson version - First of all, I LOVE the Eagles, so of course I love this song! Every time the song comes on, I think it is Steve Perry singing! It sounds just like him! I also love Kelly Clarkson, and her version is awesome!

13. (There’s No Place Like) Home for the Holidays, Perry Como version - This song is definitely one of top Christmas songs! I love it when he sings about Dixie’s Southern Shores! That’s us!

14. Baby It’s Cold Outside, Dean Martin version, and Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé version - I actually like this song. I know that a lot of people don’t, but it’s catchy!

15. Step Into Christmas, Elton John version - I love this song! I listen to it on repeat over and over again! It is so fun, and is also super fun to run to!

16. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home), Mariah Carey version, and Darlene Love version - This song is super fun! Darlene Love’s Christmas album has some great throwback feelin’ songs! As for Mariah Carey, I feel like all her other Christmas songs are over looked because of All I Want For Christmas is You, but her other songs are great too! Like this one!

17. Santa Tell Me, Ariana Grande version - This song is SUPER catchy, I mean stuck in your head for hours after hearing it! ;) You gotta love it though!

18. Mistletoe, Justin Bieber version - Shorty with you! That was for you, Ella! If you didn’t know, Ella and I love this song. I mean listen to it over and over again. We love it! I should be playin’ in the winter snow, but I’m a be under the mistletoe! Shorty with you!

19. It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year, Andy Williams version - This song is a classic! It’s the most time of the year!

20. Jingle Bell Rock, Bobby Helms version - Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square, in the frosty air!!

21. All I Want For Christmas Is You, Mariah Carey version - This is the first song that I associate with Christmas! This song is probably many peoples’ favorite, as it is mine! Love this song!

22. Underneath The Tree, Kelly Clarkson version - I love Kelly Clarkson, and I love this song! It is a great song, and is so fun to sing along to!

23. Wrapped In Red, Kelly Clarkson version - I also love this Kelly Clarkson song! 

24. Blue Christmas, Elvis Presley version - I love this song! It’s so catchy, and I love The King!

25. Last Christmas, WHAM version, and Taylor Swift version - This is a classic Christmas song! I love the WHAM version, and the Taylor Swift version as well!

26. Run Run Rudolph, Kelly Clarkson version - This song is the best!

27. Little Saint Nick, Beach Boys version - This song was stuck in my head in March. I remember we had a tournament at the beach for volleyball, and when I was with my friends at their condo I was singing this song! I hadn’t heard it in forever, but somehow I was still singing it! ;)

28. Like It’s Christmas, The Jonas Brothers version - This is also one of my top Christmas songs! I know all of the words! 

29. Wonderful Christmas Time, Paul McCartney version - This song literally will be playing in my head on repeat for hours! 

30. Christmas Time Is Here (Vocal), Vince Guaraldi Trio version - I love this song! 

31. Frosty The Snowman, Gene Autry version - Frosty the Snowman knew the sun was hot that day, so he said goodbye and don’t you cry, I’ll be back again some day!

32. Jingle Bells, Bing Crosby and The Andrew Sisters version - I can’t believe I almost  left out this song! 

33. You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch, Tyler, The Creator version, and Thurl Ravenscroft version - This is a song from one of my favorite Christmas movies! So good!

34. Man With The Bag, Jessie J version - Everybody’s waitin’ for the man with the bag! Christmas is here again!

35. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, Elmo & Patsy version - This song is hilarious!! It makes me laugh and sing along whenever I hear it!

36. Christmas Tres Farm, Taylor Swift version - I know Ella doesn’t like this song, but I LOVE it! In my heart is a Christmas tree farm, where we dance under sparkles and lights!

37. Santa Baby, Taylor Swift version, and Eartha Kit version - Santa Baby, I want a yacht and really that’s not a lot! Ummm, actually that is a lot! :)

38. Mary, Did You Know?, Pentatonix version - This song is so beautiful!

39. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Pentatonix version - Every time I think of this song, I think of the part in The Grinch Stole Christmas movie when the carolers are chasing the Grinch! It cracks me up!

40. Twelve Days of Christmas, Bing Crosby and The Andrew Sisters version - I have never been able to remember all of the days of Christmas! I know the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th days of Christmas! I get confused past then!

41. Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, Dean Martin version - I wish I could say let it keep snowing, or even start snowing!

42. ‘Zat You, Santa Claus?, Louis Armstrong version - Is that you Santa Claus!!??

43. What Christmas Means To Me, John Legend and Stevie Wonder version - This song is so fun, and I love me some John Legend!

44. Feliz Navidad, José Feliciano version - I want to wish you a Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart!

45. I’ll Be Home For Christmas (If Only In My Dreams), Frank Sinatra version - Love this song!

46. My Favorite Things, Julie Andrews version - This song really isn’t a Christmas song, but I associate it with Christmas!

47. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, The Jackson 5 version - I love this song! I know some people don’t, but it is such a funny song!

48. This Christmas, Donny Hathaway version - This is a classic!

49. Up On The Housetop, Pentatonix version - Up on the housetop, click, click, click! Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick!

50. Cozy Little Christmas, Katy Perry version - I don’t need diamonds or sparkly things, cause you can’t buy this feeling!!

51. Wizards In Winter (Instrumental), Trans-Siberian Orchestra version - This song is the BEST! I have a video of Clara dancing to is a couple years ago! It’s so cute!

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

  Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
