What’s Up Wednesday - 11/25/20

Hey hey!! Happy Wednesday! Today I am so excited to share this month’s edition of What’s Up Wednesday!! I am linking up with Shay and Sheaffer to bring you this post!! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Ahhhhh! I am so so excited! Here we go!

1.  WHAT WE’RE EATING:

We have been eating lots turkey sandwiches on Sandwich Thins, egg whites with spinach, green onions, red onions, and mushrooms, and lentils with rice! A pretty simple week food wise, except for THANKSGIVING! So so excited!

You can read my Thanksgiving menu HERE, and my Thanksgiving desserts HERE!

2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:

My Aunt Tyler sent me this photo the other day! This was from Thanksgiving 2 years ago, it is me with Angus, who Aunt and Uncle’s black lab! It’s so weird to think about the times where there wasn’t a pandemic, and we didn’t have to worry about spreading the virus. Those were the days! Now that I’m thinking about it, I feel like I totally took moments like that (pre-corona) for granted.

3. WHAT I’M LOVING:
I am love, love, loving this cold weather! This month was significantly colder than October (thank goodness), and it was great!
I know I shared this on Friday, but I am LOVING this picture!

This one as well!

4. WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
This month we have been going on walks on trails, which is a blast! It’s so nice to get outside and walk in a place that isn’t just the neighborhood!

I got Starbucks on Saturday, which was super exciting! I got the app, and ordered and paid from there! It was a great experience, and I loved it! This time I tried the toasted white chocolate mocha! It was great!
I have been doing LOTS of reading! Some in the hammock, some just around the house!
I have also been doing walks with Maddie!

5. WHAT I’M DREADING:
I am not really dreading much aside from this REALLY important project in history that is due Monday! **SIGH**

6. WHAT I’M WORKING ON:
I have been working on a list of chores that I give myself every morning! Since I don’t have school things to work on, I like to have a list of things to do!

7. WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:
I am SOOOO excited for Thanksgiving! I didn’t know if you could tell. ;)
I am also super excited for volleyball to start! Our first practice of the season is on December 1st!

8. WHAT I’M WATCHING & READING:
Watching: I have been watching a LOT of Food Network and HGTV! I have been loving the Christmas Cookie show, the Holiday baking show, and the show Good Bones!
Reading: This month Ella and I are reading only classic books! Right now I am reading A Tale of Two Cities!

9. WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:
I have been listening to Dateline, and Christmas music!! I am super excited for the holidays, and I love Christmas music! Speaking of Christmas music, Ella and I are linking up together and hosting a little link up for you bloggers! On December 3 don’t forget to post about your Christmas playlist! Link up on our blogs, and make sure to use this graphic!!

10. WHAT I’M WEARING:
Since it is cold here (or colder), I have been busting out my leggings (THESE are my favorite), sweaters, sweat pants, and of course comfy sweatshirts!! This is my favorite time of the year for outfits as well as its Christmas and Thanksgiving!

11. WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:
Watching the Iron Bowl!! War Eagle! I’m hoping this year’s game is as good as last years!

12. WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
I am so so excited for Christmas, and all of the Christmas blog posts that come with it! I am super excited for travel volleyball!

13. WHAT ELSE IS NEW:
Nothing else is new!

That is all I have for you guys! Make sure to check out my post of from Monday HERE! I hope you have a wonderful day, and I will see you later!!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
