A Day In The Life: Virtual School Day

Hey guys!! Happy happy Wednesday!!! I have been so excited for this post, but I never got around to doing it!! Well today is the day for my A Day In The Life: Virtual School Day!! I hope you guys enjoy looking into a day in my life!!

My alarm goes off at 6 AM, but I always snooze it once and I ended up getting out of bed at 6:25!! I love doing virtual, because I am not in a rush to go anywhere! I feel like I would be so tired and worn out from going to school all day, and then having to wake up early for it again!! #virtuallife

After waking up I ate breakfast!! I had leftover banana waffles from the day before and hot tea!! I thought the waffles were great, and so did Pip!!

While I was waiting for my tea to steep, this little kitty saw a cardinal outside and started to bird watch!!

Then while I was eating, I did some reading!! I was reading The Betrothed, by Kiera Cass! Most people said that they didn't like it, but I actually enjoyed it!

While I was getting ready, I was jamming out to some Christmas music!

Then it was time for some school work!! This is my planner!! I love it, and I love to color code it for each class!

The first thing on my agenda was a science zoom! I got to take a test and passed!

After my science meeting, I had about twenty minutes before my next zoom. I used this time to work on an i-Ready lesson, and to apparently take a selfie!

Then it was math time!! We had our math zoom meeting and mostly talked about our study guide for our unit assessment on Thursday!! I am so excited!!

After math, is was on to English! We recapped some of the book that we are reading! We are reading The Looking Glass Wars! I normally do not like the books we have to read for school, but this one is great! It is so exciting and it was a great book!! After the recap I took (and passed) The Looking Glass Wars Part II Reading Check!

I did not take any pictures of lunch, but I just had fruit and a sandwich!

After lunch, it was history time! We didn't have a zoom, so I took notes on the next PFA instead! In my head I only thought it would take a little while, and that it wouldn't be a lot. I was wrong. I ended up taking seven pages of notes, and it took an hour. *S I G H* At least I will be prepared for the test!! ;)

Then I did some cuddling with Moes (Charles Dickens our cat). Aside from Moes, we also call him Moo Moo Cow because he looks like a cow!!

That afternoon I had a band rehearsal so I went to that! After that I came home, ate dinner, showered and went to bed!!

Well, that is all I have for you today!! I hope you guys enjoyed getting to see a day in my life!! Have a great day, and make sure to check back here on Friday for some Friday Favorites!! Happy Wednesday!!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
