Friday Favorites - Outdoors Edition

Happy Friday! Today I have a three of my favorite things from outdoors this week! I hope you enjoy!

1. Hammock
As you can probably tell, I have been sitting/laying/napping in the hammock! Yes, I have fallen asleep many times on our hammock! It is one of my favorite reading spots EVER! I can sit in our hammock for hours! I am still finishing the Harry Potter series (for the ninth time), and I am very close to the end of the last book! I sobbed and sobbed while reading this book! Even though I know what is coming it makes me even sadder! Anyways, the hammock is the best place to be, and it provides hours of entertainment. Hammock time has been a FAVORITE!

2. Plants
These are the little bing tomatoes!
The big (I mean huge) plant in the middle are our Cherokee purple air-loom tomatoes! The smaller one beside it (which is still pretty big) are the jalapeno peppers!!
Our plants are now huge, and the herbs, tomatoes, and jalapenos are already producing! The little bing tomatoes have already produced about four or five little tomatoes! They were A-MA-ZING!! Fresh little tomatoes that are sun warmed are the bomb dot com!! The air-loom tomatoes have a LOT of different blooms, and every single day we go to look at them, they seem to have grown a foot! None of them have turned red yet, but I am very excited for when they do! The pepper plant has a LOT of blooms, and one is very close to being ready to eat! Watching/documenting them plants has been a family FAVORITE!

3. Doggy Cuddles
This is Maddie, she is one of two cute puppies in our house! We love her so much, and she thinks she is a lap dog, but she is not! She is such a great cuddle buddy, and we love some cuddles with her! Also, this is a picture of us inside but this was the best cuddle buddy picture we had! Cuddles have been a FAVORITE!

Thank you for reading! Have a great day!!

Love Abby!!

  1. I have seen several neighbors with hammocks and sure wished we had a tree for one. How fun!

  2. A hammock sounds so nice! I haven't had one since I was a kid but lately I've been thinking about how nice it would be to have one! Unfortunately we don't have any trees in our backyard that would work for one! And Harry Potter never gets old. I've read them so many times and they're still just as wonderful each time I read them! I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. I LOVE my hammock, but we haven't been able to put it out the last two years as my hammock spot was taken over. I do however have a nice padded swing chair that has taken it's place and in all honesty I think I might like it even better. I am trying so hard NOT to cry over the Harry Potter books as I am reading them aloud with my boys and I know they'd think I was nuts to get so emotional each time I read them.

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
