Friday Favorites - Happy Mother's Day!!

Hello, hello!! It is Fri-Yay!! Today I am going to be sharing with you my Friday Favorites Mother's Day Edition!! I have been super excited for this post, and I have been working on in for about two weeks! Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika to bring you this post, and I hope you enjoy!!

During this quarantine, we have been living outside! We get up, get ready, finish our work for the day, and then we go outside and bird watch for hours. We LOVE hanging out outside! Mom and I have been bird-watching for an hour or more every day! We have one hummingbird feeder right by the window in front of the kitchen table, a feeder for bigger birds (like cardinals, wrens, and nut-hatches) right in front of the window on the other side of the kitchen, and another larger bird feeder in the middle of the back yard! With all of the feeders, we have had lots of bird customers! Mom also spotted a hummingbird nest, and sure enough we see her come to the feeder almost every couple hours! Bird-watching has been a big FAVORITE this week!

During the quarantine, the only way for me to really be awake in the mornings, is to wake up early! I get up around 5 AM, take a bath (I generally shower at night), and do my devotion! I have loved being one of the only ones up, and getting to have a little bit of quiet alone time with God has been such a blessing! I think that this quarantine has been a call for me to become closer with God! I also am going through all of the books of the bible, and just reading the word! I go through and highlight big points, and I try and think about what each book speaks to me about. Sometimes I will sit in the hammock and just read! It has also been so amazing! I am so grateful for these moments, and I do not want to take this time for granted. Devotion time had been one of my FAVORITES!

I almost forgot! Drinking my morning tea and reading my favorite blogs have been a FAVORITE!
Here Is a List of The Blogs I Read:

Little Bit of Life blog with one of my besties (who just had a birthday) Ella

My Imperfectly Perfect Life blog with one of my other besties Kate

I read a couple other blogs, but these are my top go to's! I recommend each one, because everyday it makes me happy to get to see how some other people are holding up!

This is a little random, but I LOVE this new shampoo! It smells amazing, and it gets my hair really clean! When I first got it, I kept smelling my hair! It has been one of my all time FAVORITES! I also got a new Raw Sugar body wash, and it is wonderful as well!

Okay, well those were my weekly favorites! Have a wonderful rest of your day! Have a great weekend, and I hope you have an amazing Mother's Day!! Hope you enjoyed!

Love Abby!!

  2. I am loving your favorites. And I echo the early morning devotion time. Thanks to this work from home routine we’re in, my kids are sleeping in and I have so much time in the mornings to read the Word and pray without being interrupted. It was definitely a blessing from God to be able to do that. I am cherishing it for sure. Happy Weekend!

  3. Abby, it looks like you have mastered quarantine life! I get up by 6:30 am every morning which really is sleeping in for me. And I so desperately want to spend more time outside but it is still too cold here! Thanks for sharing and linking up with me. Wishing you a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
