Universal Orlando Band Trip 2020 Part 2

Hey hey!! Happy Thursday! Today I am finishing up my trip recap! As I said in the first part, I LOVED this trip!! When all of this craziness is over, I recommend  you to go on a trip there!! You can read the first part HERE!!

Friday 3/13/20
After a long day on Thursday, I slept like a rock!! Our wake up call was at 6:00 AM, but I think we snoozed our alarm and slept for another thirty minutes! We were a bit rushed since we slept later, but we got down in time for breakfast!! I LOVE hotel breakfast!! One of my favorites!! The waffle maker station was the bomb.com!! I love waffles, and oddly enough a waffle maker is my number one birthday wish!! Anyways!! Friday was the whole reason we were there! We were invited to perform in a parade around the Universal Park!! We went backstage (behind the park), and we got all warmed up!! Then it was time for us to go!! Walking through the parks with everybody looking at us was super fun!! There was a group of people who were dancing to our song!! Oh my goodness!! It was so funny!! Also, I thought the lady guiding us told me turn so we almost turned the wrong way!! 😂
(I am on the shady side holding the banner)
After we were finished we got back on the bus, and we had to wait for a little bit until the whole parade was finished, and in the meantime we all had to change into our park clothes. Then when we finally got into the parks, we all ate together at the Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and the food was sooooo good!! Then we all went to take a picture together in front of the Universal sign!
After that we went on a couple of the indoor rides like; minions, Race Through New York with Jimmy Fallon, and so much more!!
After that, we rode The Mummy! It was AWESOME! It is a high speed indoor coaster, and we ALL loved it!!

Then, it was time for all of us to face our biggest fears!! We rode Rip Ride Rockit!!!

Trust me! It is much scarier than it looks! I am a HUGE coaster fan, and I was super pumped for this one! As we were getting on, I was getting a bit nervous well because it was a bit intimidating! Good news, the seat belt can pretty much go as tight as you want it so I felt super safe. Bad news, I did it really tight and it was kind of painful! Anyways, you pick your music and you are going up! On the way up, I was getting nervous and I hyperventilating!! Olivia was calming me down, and then we went down the hill!! It was so fun! The only part of rides that I don't like, is the suspense, but this ride was so fun!! We decided to ride it a second time!! So fun!!
After that we settled down and ate lunch! Then we went to the Simpsons ride. It was alright, but not our favorite!
After that, we went to Diagon Alley to ride the Escape From Gringotts! So much fun!
After that very fun, and action packed day we headed to get some dinner at Moe's!! While we were all eating our YUMMY food (I always get their burritos)!! Our chaperones got email from our school saying that it would be cancelled until April 4. That was all anybody talked about for the rest of dinner up until The Blue Man Group concert!! It was hands down hilarious!! Such a great concert/show! Everybody loved it, and that will be in our hearts forever!!
Please note my selfie taking skills!! I was the one holding the camera! That was hard work considering I am a pretty bad group selfie taker!
That night, we were all so tired that on the way back to the hotel every body was silent!!

Saturday 3/14/20:
Our last day at the parks! We got up, and ate our breakfast and were all talking about what we were going to do!! This day was reserved for our all time favorite rides we wanted to ride again! That morning we started by riding the Dr. Seuss Trolley, which was fun and gave us a nice view of the park! We went in a kind of reverse circle around the park! Our first stop, was Harry Potter world! Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey, which I still got extremely scared of the spiders (again) *sigh*.
After that, we were off to ride the one ride we hadn't ridden yet, Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure! It was absolutely AMAZING! So me might have waited in line for two hours, but who cares! It was so worth it! It was super fast, scary, and at one point I was scared out of my mind!! Such a great ride that we all loved!

Our next ride was Jurassic River Adventure for the second (and final time)! It was just as good as the first time, and this time I was front row again on the other side! On the way up there were these animatronic dinosaurs (who were very realistic) and I screamed so many times! The next ride in our circle was Reign of Kong, which was probably one of the scariest considering that it was loud and dark!! I was holding somebody's hand and closing my eyes because I was genuinely scared! The worst part of it wasn't even the ride, it was the waiting line which was dark and scary! One of my friends ended up jumping up and scaring me from behind!!
After that, we ate lunch at the Jurassic lunch place (which was really good)! After that, we rode all of our favorites again! Including Popeye's, Spider man, Fear Fall, and Hulk! Once we had ridden them enough to say goodbye, we headed for the Mummy and waited for the Mardi Gras parade! Lucky for me, Hannah, Sariya, me, and a couple others we left to ride Hulk for the last time! We ended up riding it four times in a row, yep four times! Then, for our last ride of the trip (or possibly forever), we rode Popeye's.  Which probably wasn't the best idea, getting soaked right before we were leaving the parks!
We met up with everyone, left the park, and headed for the hotel. Again, I passed out immediately!

Sunday 3/15/20:
This was kind of a sad day! We had a nine hour bus ride ahead of us, and no one was really looking forward to it. We packed up our things, ate breakfast, and headed home! For the first hour, I just watched a movie, but then I fell asleep for about two hours. Then we had our lunchtime stop at a huge gas station with three restaurants inside. We ate and headed home! We finally got to the PAC and then after a short drive, I was home at last!

Well, that was my trip review! Goodness, that was a lot! It was such an amazing trip, and I am so lucky to have gone on it! I hope you enjoyed the trip review!!!

Love Abby!!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
