Let's Look - My Weekend!!

Yay!! It is time for this month's edition of Let's Look!! I have been super pumped about this, and I can't wait to get started! Today I am linking up with Erika and Shay (some of my favorite bloggers), to bring you Let's Look!! This month we are talking weekend! Let's be honest, my weekends kind of run in with my normal days. The only thing that is different, is that I sleep in way later, but I am going to be showing you the "fun" things we do on the weekend! Hope you enjoy!

Friday was a pretty normal day! I got up, did my devotion, ate breakfast and read a couple blogs, then I finished with my schoolwork and hung outside for the remainder of the day. I go to bed fairly early, so on a Friday night I went to bed at 9 PM! I needed to catch up on my sleep, because I was worn out by the end of the week!

On Saturday morning, I took advantage of getting to sleep in, and I woke up around 10! I was so happy that Charles (our kitty) decided to cuddle with me! He is the cutest cat EVER, but he is not the nicest cat we have ever had, so when he does decide to be sweet it is a real treat! He actually just turned six on Cinco De Mayo!
Is he not the cutest??!!
So after cuddles with my favorite kitty, I cleaned my room! Every Saturday, I clean up my room! By the end of the week my room may be a little cluttered and messy, and by the end of the week I can't take it any more, so I clean it up! I mostly just put things where it goes, vacuum, and make my bed! I have checklists that I make everyday, and cleaning was one of the first things!
After cleaning my room, I do my devotion! After I was all finished with that, it was pretty much lunch time (I had slept in pretty late)!! For the rest of the day, I pretty much laid out by the pool, read a book, and looked at our plants! I know, it sounds really boring!! But I am being completely and totally honest! Honestly, our weekends haven't been anything super special. What about yours? Basically,
I was so excited because our little bing tomatoes produced their first little tomatoes! They were so good, and I don't think there was anything more perfect than a fresh tomato!! I am very excited for our peppers to finish growing!
On Sunday, I got up at 9:45, which is the time I always get up at on Sundays because our online service starts at 11. After finished my devotion, we all sat down on the couch and watched our church's service! If you don't have a service that you watch, then you can visit HERE
After watching the service, I had a laid back day. I almost feel bad, because I did not do much this weekend! Anyways, we mostly watched birds in the back yard (which we have been doing a LOT)!
The only things I really do on Sundays, is watch our service, plan my life out on a checklist and my planner, and I work on my blog! You might have been able to tell, but I have been making checklists for EVERYTHING! I write everything down in my planner, and on my daily and weekly checklists! I also have a TON of different reminders set through out the day reminding to do things!
This week, I am eating:
Spaghetti (our family LOVES some good noodles and sauce)!!
Breakfast for dinner!!
Take-out for dinner!! #bestdayoftheweek
Baked Potatoes with LOTS of toppings!!

After planning out my week the day is pretty much over! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed my quarantine weekend! Again, thank you to Erika and Shay for this awesome link-up!! Have a wonderful day, and rest of your week!!
Thank you for reading! Have a safe but fun day!!
Also, don't forget to check out my first "How To" post!

Love Abby!!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
