Friday Favorites 4.17.20 - Scripture List

Hey everybody!! Happy Friday!! Today I am linking up with the wonderful NarciAndrea, and Erika!! For today's  Friday Favorites post, I am going to share five of my favorites from the week, and five of my favorite verses! I think this is a good compromise, and I think that all of us are open to scripture!
Okay, here are my favorites!! I hope you enjoy!

1.  Extra Time With The Family
Okay, we have been stuck at home since spring break which started Monday March 16!! That means that we have been stuck at home, for a whole month!! I don' know about y'all, but I am going a little bit crazy! I know in the end that I am going to appreciate these times!! This is a favorite, because we all get to be at home and see each other! This was us after our Easter meal, and we were sitting outside bird watching with our binoculars!! We have so many cute little cardinals, and we love to watch them!

2. School Selfies
The other day I was looking through old selfies I took on my school computer, and let me tell you there were so many!! It was super over whelming, and I started crying because my seventh grade year is over! The first picture, was what math was like, taking selfies with Ella!! The second one was in girls weight lifting with Kate!! We watched Disney+ and listened to our jams all class long!! I am missing both of these girls, but it is for the best! I never thought I would miss school!

3. Good Weather
The weather here has been absolutely beautiful! We have been so lucky to have good weather, instead of being stuck inside!! We have been taking advantage over the weather!! I have been chilling by the pool reading a book, we have been planting lots of plants, bird watching, and playing outdoor games! Our favorites have been dart and horse shoes (I am pretty bad at both)!  Over the past few days it has turned a little chilly, but soon it will be pool weather!! #cannotwait

4. My New Birkenstock's
Arizona EVA Rose | shop online at BIRKENSTOCK
I can't tell you how happy I was to get a new pair! I had had a pair, but they got way too small. I love this new pair! I wear them every day!  They are the EVA kind, meaning that they are waterproof and they are a light pink color! So cute for any summery outfits! You can find them HERE!

5.  Exercise
I know y'all are probably wondering why exercising is a favorite, but my family has a Les Mills account and it is great!! It has many types of workouts like; body pump, body flow, RPM, and much more! My favorite is the bike work outs. My family shares an indoor bike and we love it! I also just like to go outside and jump rope, run, and pass with my ball return! All of this together, has been plenty enough to make me sore!!
When I jump rope, I like to do it in thirty second intervals. Thirty seconds fast, and then thirty seconds slower! It is super easy at first, but it a couple of minutes my legs were burning like they were on fire! I timed myself to see how long I could go for and I went for  around a minute of fast paced jump roping!
I also really liked the trip workout I did. It was a bike riding one, but it a screen of you going through cool places. My favorites are the jungle, the city, and the futuristic looking one. They are super fun! Working out make me feel so much better! It makes me feel awake and super active! If you are struggling with trying to get yourself up and moving during this  quarantine, move around a little! I don't normally like to exercise that much, but it has gotten easier for me!

Those are some of my favorites from this week, but here are my favorite verses from this week!!

"For we live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:18

"Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2

"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him." Jeremiah 17:7

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

Okay, well I hope you enjoyed my favorites and verses! Have a safe and happy Friday!

Love Abby!!

Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Linking up with Shay and Erika !  To be honest, I don't drink coffee on a daily basis! Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, and I would drink it every day, but I just drink tea instead! I love hot tea a tiny bit more than coffee! So yeah, I love coffee, but I don't need it every day. Before we get into it, check out my posts from earlier this week! Monday I shared a Christmas 2020 Recap , and Tuesday I shared my Makeup Haul ! Let’s get into it! This is one coffee maker! We have the Keurig, and the water Hamilton Beach water boiler! We got out Keurig a couple of years ago from Costco, and I fell in love immediately! You can make five different cup sizes, and it makes iced coffee as well!  Since I don't do much of the coffee drinking around my house, here is the coffee that my parents use! As for me, I drink Twining’s English Breakfast

Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! I measure the time of my week by WandaVision episodes, and it seems like I just saw Episode 6!! 😂 Today, like always, I will be sharing my FAVORITES from this week + this week I have a little  BIG surprise for you all to see! I can't wait!! Let's get into it! *Linking up with Erika , Andrea , Shelbee , Nancy My first FAVORITE of the day is also my BIG surprise!!  So as you all know, our sweet pup Maddie passed away a couple of weeks ago. We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. At first, we weren't sure if he was available for adoption or even fostering. It turns out he was! On Saturday, Mom picked up him from the shelter, and when I got home from

Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
