Jackson Family Updates

Hey hey!! I just wanted to say hey, and just keep you all updated with how my family is holding up! We have been doing all good, but we have been getting a little bored and cooped up!!! Please let me know how you all are holding up!

So my family consists of my Mom, my Dad, my little sister Clara, my dog Maddie, my dog Sam, my kitty cat Charles, and me!! It sounds like a lot (just typing all of our names down felt like it took a while), but it really isn't to much. It can be a little chaotic, but it helps things seem more interesting in these times! 

During these quarantine times, we have been playing LOTS of badminton, baseball , volleyball, basketball, and jumping on the trampoline!! Our dogs (and cat) have been love love LOVING all of the attention! I have made a promise to my self to brush them everyday and give them a bath every other week! Over the break, I have had to re-read all of my books. Hahaha, some of these books I have read over ten times! #nevergetsold Butttt you do kind of get tired of it when you know the exact words off of the page! I have made myself a schedule, but it is SOOOO hard for me to make myself get up! I have ended up laying in bed reading for almost an hour!! I am trying to get more committed to my schedule, but it will be easier once my actual online schooling starts (our schools campus is closed for the rest of the year)!

Another thing we have been doing is potting some plants and LOTS of yard work. I don't know about ya'll but I DO NOT like yard work one bit. We have been documenting some of our plants we potted, and we have also planted some jalapeno peppers, little bing tomatoes (normally we get tiny tim tomatoes, but we decided to try something new), and we planted some Cherokee purple tomatoes! 

So that is pretty much what we have been up to, it has been enough to keep us all occupied, but we will see how much longer it lasts until we are bored out of our minds! ;) I hope each and every one of you is safe and remains safe! Let’s Look - Coffee Area!

Hey there! Happy Wednesday!! I am so excited that it is the first Let’s Look of the year! Today we are taking a look into my coffee area!! Friday Favorites - 1.19.21 + A Big Surprise!!

Hey friends!! Happy Fri-YAY, the best day of the week!! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far! I feel like this week has gone by SUPER fast! We missed having a dog so much, and it was so hard for all of us. So, we started looking for dogs. We connected with the West Tennessee Border Collie Rescue, and they found a male puppy in Prattville, which is so close to us. Friday Favorites - It’s 2021!!

  Hey friends!! Happy 2021! I am still amazed that we left 2020 behind, and are now experiencing 2021!! What a year 2020 was, and I am hoping 2021 can be at least a little bit better. Today I am sharing a huge haul of favorites from my Christmas Break, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s, and recent thing too!  As usual, I am linking up  with  Erika  and  Andrea , and Shelbee Before I get into this post, I would like to slow down and talk about some of the things happening in America right now. On Wednesday, led by the president, there was an insurrection, people broke into the US Capitol, and people died. This is wrong on so many levels, but this goes even deeper. Back in the Summer, people supporting Black Lives Matter were peacefully protesting and were tear-gassed so that our president could pose for a couple of photos. The people who were rioting outside of the capitol, and eventually some broke in, were not tear-gassed away, and they were breaking into the Capitol. People were shot
